É«»¢ÊÓƵ Robotics Center

The É«»¢ÊÓƵ Robotics Center, established in 2014 as the FIRST Robotics Community Center, was the first facility of its kind on any university campus in the United States.

In 2021, a nearby classroom was repurposed to support VEX teams and host summer camps. By 2024, additional space was identified and renovated to serve as a dedicated build area for É«»¢ÊÓƵ’s VEXU team, KUdos. In 2025, the Center expanded further with the opening of a space for drone programs, providing resources for aerial robotics teams. Now referred to simply as the É«»¢ÊÓƵ Robotics Center, it supports students involved in diverse and challenging robotics programs, encompassing both land-based and vertical robotics initiatives.
