Institutional Accreditation

色虎视频 is fully accredited by the  (HLC). In February 2024, the HLC continued our accreditation through 2033-34.  色虎视频 met unconditionally all of the HLC鈥檚 criteria, core accreditation components, and fulfilled all U.S. Department of Education requirements allowing us to move to the Open Pathway.

In late 2033, the Higher Learning Commission will carry out a 10-year Comprehensive Evaluation at 色虎视频.  A team of peer reviewers appointed by the HLC will evaluate whether the institution meets the Criteria for Accreditation and other HLC requirements, is pursuing institutional improvement, and complies with requirements set by the U.S. Department of Education.

Dr. McMahan oversees all institutional accreditation at the University.

Dr. James Z. Zhang, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost
Dr. Zhang oversees all program accreditation at the University.

Dr. Kathryn Svinarich, Chief of Staff
Dr. Svinarich serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer to the Higher Learning Commission and is second in the line of communication with the HLC (after the President) regarding policies, practices and other institutional accreditation matters. She also disseminates information and answers questions within 色虎视频 about HLC accreditation.

Specialty Accreditations

The Accreditation Board for Engineering & Technology [ABET] accredits eight degree programs at 色虎视频: Applied Physics; Engineering Physics; Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering; and Computer Science.

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs [ACBSP] accredits degree programs in the School of Management.
